Battery Replacement for Nova Air2/Leaf 2

(I have a Nova Air2, but my understanding is that they have the same battery based on a goodereader article.)


After two years, the battery % is declining faster so I want to proactively find a replacement.



I have searched but can't find any model #s to reference against.

1. How can I find the model number.
2. Can I replace it w/ any Nova Air series battery if I find them?
3. If Kindle batteries are an option, which ones would be best
4. Any reputable buyers? I'm thinking Amazon -> eBay -> aliexpress, which is why the Kindle battery option would be ideal

The Onyx batteries that I know are pretty thin, 2.5 mm, 1/10"
I can't say how this compares to Kindles.
Look at the part number of the battery. Does it start with "25"?

I replaced my Poke3 battery with one that I had lying around.
It was thicker and the back cover did not fit back on.
I left the back cover off since the plastic cradle of the book cover covered it anyway.
That was a bit sub-optimal because it's not really a seal.

But my Poke3 is the backup for the Poke5 which is the backup for the Go6.
