Wrong "Pages left in chapter"

I have a(rather big -- around 1k chapters) book that shows wrong "Pages left in chapter" at the bottom. It updates the number only once after I "turn" 2-3 pages. Is there any setting I should enable/disable to get correct value?

"Built in page numbering" is enabled for the book as I get a warning saying it can't be disabled for the book.

I see correct value in koreader, but opening the book is so slow for this (big) book and slow opening repeats everytime device is restarted. So, I'm using builtin reader for this book.

I think the values on 'Pages left until the end of chapter' based on the built-in pages left on the ereader, and the Pages is based on the document.
