Perhaps I am wrong but I thought that KOReader used Stardict format dictionaries which would only need to be unpacked into the dictionary directory (on a Kobo, .adds/koreader/data/dict/ ) so you should not need Pyglossary unless you are converting to use with Kobo's stock renderer.

I found a wikidict En-Fr (70481 words) and a Babylon En-Fr (149834 words) which I compressed into a single .zip file. If you copy the files from the two folders in the .zip file into the .adds/koreader/data/dict/ directory on your Kobo, you should be able to use them. I've attached the .zip file, a screenshot of the Manage Installed Dictionaries screen to this message and an image of the directory. Note that KOReader adds the <filename>.idx.oft file.

Yeah, I've never found a perfect dictionary. This one has all the words but lacks the entymology, this one is great on variants but lacks the word count, etc.

Jon, IMNSHO, the OP was asking about dictionaries for KOReader on a Kobo ereader and I responded as such.
