Clear the contents of a column
I have an intake library that has all kinds of crap in the tags column and crap in the series column. What's the easier way to clear these columns? Thanks.

If it's one of the columns that doesn't appear in the bulk MDE, you can use Action Chains' single-field edit.

Using Bulk Metadata Editor, I was able the clear the tags and series columns very easy.
After cleaning tags and series, a vacuum of the database saved 0.7MB. Last edited by JSWolf; 09-04-2024 at 11:29 AM. |

Is there a way to automatically clear those tags when an ebook is imported?

I tested with .* in Prefs - Adding Books - Adding Actions - button Rules to filter tags... and it worked.
I guess (.*) does the same in this case: |
