Where does your reader live?

By which I mean where does the reader spend most of it's time?

Mine lives generally in my right hand knee pocket in my work cargo trousers.
Otherwise it's snuggled into the top pocket of my laptop backpack.
And at night it's usually on the floor by the top of my bed.

On the floor, next to the bed. Right next to the phone. (29 years as an on-call programmer causes you to sleep with a phone in reaching distance....)

Mine is generally in the reading room. My reading room is similar to that pictured in Sir Edwards avatar.

At home it's basically within hand's reach, always on shelf/table though, I'm too scared of somebody (kids hubby me) sitting/stepping on it. At night in the nightstand drawer. At work on my upper shelf by the radio.

and in my camera-laptop-essentials-bag every time I leave the house, it fits snuggly and safely by the minilaptop and is cushioned by the camera-compartment's walls.
