Sony Ereader Froze on Chargin Battery screen

I have a Sony Ereader Touch Edition and I LOVE IT!! However, tonite I was charging it, unplugged it and it has stayed on the 'charging battery' screen even though it is unplugged. I don't know how to reboot it, or what should I do? Any suggestions?

I've had my reader get "stuck" a few times (though not int he same way you describe). Why works for me is to try connecting it to the PC via USB, let it stabilize for a few minutes, then unplug it. That usually clears things up.

That or a hard reset.

were you charging it via the PC or using a wall charger? Sometimes you can have problems using USB as it can drain the battery if the PC goes into sleep mode while you are charging it.

Hey thanks for the replies. I did a reset (not sure if it would be a soft or a hard). I looked it up on a website and that's what they suggested. Anyway, that worked.
