Clara 2E api_endpoint keeps reverting

I hope this is the correct place to ask this. I did a search and didn't come up with anything, so I'm sorry if I've just missed it somehow.

I have set up calibre-web on my home server behind a reverse proxy. It works great if I go to the api endpoint on my browser. However on my Clara 2e, the endpoint keeps reverting to the kobo one in my .kobo/Kobo/Kobo eReader.conf file.

I set it to api_endpoint=http://books.domain.tld/kobo/xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxf in my conf file, but when I sync it reverts back to the kobo site. Has anyone else run into this or have suggestions for a solution? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

After doing a full reset (a software factory reset kept reverting as well) it seems to have stuck this time. I had to have the device plugged into a power adapter and hold the power button until it did a full reset. I'm not sure what was causing it, but it seems to be fixed now. Just a weird bug I guess. I'll keep an eye on it and update if it reverts again.
