I don't know how you all find these, I've been searching and didn't discover any of these! Thank goodness owndedbycats came up with this thread

Can others check - I'm looking at Rebellion but none of their ebooks come up with how many pages they are even though they show length under the main description. Is anyone else getting the same? I won't buy an ebook if I have no idea how long it is (I'm a fairly fast reader so I dont like short books)

Scratch that - It just so happened the first five I looked at didn't give amount of pages, others do.

Harper Collins sell direct, but then you can only read on a proprietary app, supplied by Glose, so Glose is probably best avoided too. They do also giver links to the main ebook retailers.

So do check how any direct publisher sales are fulfilled.

Yes, I agree. The snag is that certainly Harper Collins has their own shopping cart and you buy direct, but they don't have any download when you read the fine print. Very misleading!
