Image URL link for Book Covers

I use Plex client for movies, TV, music, etc. It has a feature that allows you to enter the image URL of a movie poster to use that image in Plex as a cover. Is there a way to do this in Calibre or is it a feature that could be added?

Simply drag and drop the image on to the book details panel to use it as cover. Or use the download metadata feature to have calibre auto matically download covers. Or copy the image and then right click the existing cover in the calibre book details panel and click paste.
