How to link two books in Calibre

When I add a new book B I have seen quoted in another book A, I would like to link B to A, in order to keep trace of its source.

I have created a new column with what I think is a link for the book A, for instance:

calibre://show-book/_hex_-4269626c696f746563615f64655f63616c69627265/2656

but it does not work, apparently

What sort of column - I use a long text column like this:



And I enter the link like this in Book A (I do it via F2 in book list, the column is cloaked with a red chain icon)



The link comes from right click->Copy->Link to show book in calibre in Book B's book details panel.
