downloading metadata into custom columns
I have a question about downloading metadata into custom columns: is it possible to automatically redirect metadata into custom columns when downloading them from selected sources? e.g. I would like to collect Google's tags in a separate custom column ( <meta name="calibre:user_metadata:#googletags"> ); is there a way to edit a rule OR to "tweak" something in order to get this result?

No metadata can only be downloaded into builtin columns

Ok, thanks! so then... would it be possible in the current version setting a rule for labelling the source of specific metadata dowloaded, e.g. all metadata downloaded from Google are marked as "googlemetadata.[metadata]" ?

metadata downloaded from google will have the presence of a google identifier in the ids field. Dont know what you mean by every piece of metadata. Note that the final downloaded metadata is a mix of metadta from all sources bot just from one source, unless you disable all but one metadata source plugin

You should use google metadata download and google images only
