Help lost calibre library

Hello all I've been using calibre for the past few years with trial and errors many times but this one I've truly perplexed on how a library of 1200+ went missing but I still have the folders for those said files but no files, I've tried database restore but it only restores to an empty folder.

My library is on a drive that I use for my open media vault set up. I decided to add 3 drives to it using the merger plug in and mounted 3 drives to the point. At one I did have free file sync setup a stime to back up said content but stopped doing a while back but the script still runs daily.

Not sure what I did wrong but I really need to figure out a way to recover my books

I use calibre across a windows laptops but the main calibre program running is on a rpi 4 2 or gb I belive which auto start calibre and mounts the folder via nfs. I also crated a auto import folder..

Find and copy the calibre library files to a local drive folder (i.e. SATA, NVMe, SCSI, USB Mass Storage – not MTP, IDE) and don't ever use them over a network.
Tell calibre to use that local folder.

Before you DO ANYTHING (else to make things worse)

Read the last 2 Questions in this FAQ section
https://manual.calibre-ebook.com/faq...ary-management

The FAQ's will help you recover as much as possible. (some things may be lost, others will have older, stale duplicates.)

The only thing you could have done worse, would have put things on Google Drive
