Hello all. I am just a poor boy looking at purchasing a sony prs 505. Found this site to be quite helpful, now if I can just find a 505.

Well, that depends on where bcarlson lives. If they are in the US, then no, the 505 is not hard to find. Some other countries it may be harder.

it's not the availablity of the 505 that hampers me, it is the price. I am in the States. I am trying to save what I can and sell other stuff, but the economy sucks.

You can get the new 505s for around $250 if you look around or are patient.
