Kindle '.1' updates
It appears there are updates for all Kindles, with '.1' tacked on to the previous version.

There are no release notes, perhaps it is some security patch.

So for Scribe:

5.16.2.0.1

Others (Kindle Paperwhite 7th generation and later):

5.16.2.1.1

That's the same release note from 5.16.2.1. Nothing new was added for 5.16.2.1.1 (to the release note anyway, I assume there is something new in the build).

There is a pre-release version of the DeDRM plugin for calibre that handles the DRM used with KFX format, including books downloaded by the previous Kindle firmware release. I wonder whether this new release is intended defeat that. I would test it but I am traveling at the moment.

The code is in NoDRM's Github repository at DeDRM_tools. To download the alpha releases, use the Automatic alpha release with latest changes link.

Cursory check seems to show same DRM as before, so probably not? Same version numbers, anyway. But not sure.

I am not seeing this feature, either, on any of my Kindles. Tried Restart, no change.

Amazon often switches on new features well after an update is applied, and only for a small percentage at first. This may well be one of those cases.

That said, it's not a feature I'm likely to use, I only have 4 collections and those represent only a small percentage of my Library (less than 5 percent).

It does not appear in mine either, but you could already do that. Just select list in View Options and then in the Filter select collections

The UI change will be 'cleaner' and more obvious. I do not like having items and collections mixed together.
