Searching title field

Hi,
I'm having problems searching for titles including special characters.

I have a number of books where I've added author extra features at the end - a freebie epilogue for instance. I've changed the title (& title sort) field to something like - (& epilogue) or (& AU version) or (& codas)

In other words, the only standard item for these modified books is "(&". But I can't see how to search for this. I've tried looking for \\( and "\\(" and title:=(& plus numerous variants. I'm sure I'm missing something really simple so any hints would be welcome!
