Custom Chinese dictionary missing words

Hi,

I've been trying to figure out how to get a Chinese (not Chinese-English, if it matters) dictionary onto my Kobo Libra Colour.

I've managed to do it, but it's straight up missing a few words here and there. I then found a Chinese forum where people are sharing their own different dictionaries, and some users, but not all, report the same issue, even on their Chinese devices with Chinese system settings. I tried those dictionaries and get the same result.

The suspicion over there seems to be about the firmware and its system fonts, but I've not gotten much headway there. I'm on the Oct 2024 firmware

Would appreciate some advice!
