Clara HD Update causing trouble with supplementary fonts

Prior to the update I had only two additional fonts installed on my Clara HD and there were no issues with displaying characters and no popups. They were:

SourceHanSansJP-Regular
SourceHanSansKR-Regular

The most recent update forced an install of Noto Serif KR. All books now display this message each time they are opened:

Noto Serif KR has been turned on as a supplementary font for this book.

The message freezes the page for several seconds and I can't force it to go away until it has timed out. When I go to the supplementary fonts drop down list, it says that there are three fonts selected: HanSansKR, Noto Serif KR, and AR UDJingxihei.

Removing Noto Serif KR isn't an option because the books will simply open a different popup telling me to sync and reinstall it instead. Removing my fonts didn't help as it still auto selects both the Noto Serif KR and AR font and gives the popup.

If I open the file and manually unselect the AR font, the popup won't appear again for that file. However, this fix would mean that I have to manually adjust the settings of 300+ kepub files while still having to wait for the popup to close before I can do so. Does anyone have any idea of a way to fix the issue or perhaps streamline the settings change?

I reported something similar to Kobo just last week, when opening a Hebrew book. I suggest you do the same.
