Question Help! Font drop list problem with Sage

Two days ago, I encountered "database corrupted". So I disconnected / reconnected my Kobo account, annoying but manageable, even with 7000 books:
* review parameters
* patch
* change affiliate, load dictionaries and custom dictionaries, fonts, screensavers
* and patiently disconnect/reconnect reader to PC a score of times to allow the database to recognize books.
* turn the Sage off then on before synchronizing reading position and metadata.

Once done, I checked the DB was ok, and started reading. Disaster: every time I tried to change the font , the reader rebooted - and I tried many times.
So I reinitialized my Sage, a much longer and more painful process with those 7000 books. Done after two days, but the problem subsists: whichever book, however many times I try, Sage reboots after every attempt to drop the fonts list.

It seems unlikely that the fonts drop list problem could be linked to the database corruption, and I have no idea what is going on, or how I might solve the problem. Please help.

Do you have any sideloaded fonts? If so, try removing them.

I do have side-loaded fonts. Luckily the problem disappeared as mysteriously as it had appeared.

Use Kobo Utilities to backup your database every time you plug in your Kobo to Calibre. Also you can use Kobo Utilities to keep track of your reading positions of whatever books you've started reading.
