Hi All,
I'm using Kindle Oasis 3 mainly for manga. Therefore reading manga with less margin will be better experience. Correct me if i'm wrong there will always be some "small" margin which is "hardcoded" by default in kindle. In the below example 1. Amazon Kindle Store manga has the best (with min margin) 2. PDF conversion from CBZ file shows the closest to Amazon Kindle Store. 3. Mobi conversion from same CBZ file shows the worst with fat margin ![]() I have tried CSS script, remove margin, set to 0/Unchanged, etc (tips from forum) I wanted to know if there is any other method to achieve close to 0 margin or similar to Amazon Kindle Store? Or the pdf conversion is the best we can achieve? Last edited by hebeonline; 06-02-2023 at 12:16 AM. |

Convert to KF8 instead of Mobi.
Use Calibre to edit the KF8. Then add the following to the top of the CSS. You will need to figure out the correct negative px to get a 0 margin. You will need larger then -45px. But once you've figured it out, you'll be good to go. Code:
html { margin-right: -45px; margin-left: -45px; break-inside: avoid !important; } |

Or use a -4.5% for margins.

Actual Kindle comics and manga are published in a fixed-layout format with proprietary markup. Calibre does not handle this and the reflowable format it produces instead will never match what you see for a published Kindle comic.
The Kindle Comic Converter can produce the proper comics and manga format for Kindles. |

Likely it won't work anyway if a regular Kindle comic format. |

Doesn't really matter if it's px or % in this case as @jhowell's answer is the best one.
