Parallel conversion of multiple books

Hi,
it is possible to enable parallel book conversion? having to convert many books and having a CPU with 8 cores and 16 threads would be much faster...
Thanks...

Calibre DOES use multiple cores in some cases. (a single job does NOT)
You can limit that

Preferences: Miscellaneous:

I have been using Calibre for over a decade and have never needed rapid MASS conversion as I can only read 1 book at a time and books (even if I send many) are sent SEQUENTIALLY.

Hi, theducks,
thanks for your answer.
Obviously I'm not reading all the books I put in Calibre, now I'm just creating a comic book library for my son. By the way, can I ask you for information? I have to insert several .cbz books that contain .png black & white images and a .jpg color cover and convert them to .pdf format, but all the time the cover is changed to black & white. I searched everywhere but I did not find a solution, do you know how I can do? All settings are the default. Thank you.

I've had that happen just the other day! Solution was to disable comic processing:

I don't read (our use) CBZ.
But look at Preferences: Input Options: Comic input
There is a tick and other settings that may do it.
