How can I underline with Koreader for SCAN-PDF

Hello everyone, I have a problem with underline words in a scan-pdf. Can someone help me to solve the problem. Thanks a lot!

In pic, the pen located under Auckland but the words above were marked.

You need to apply OCR to your PDF. Always better to do it in your computer. Might be mandatory if your ereader is android based: https://github.com/koreader/koreader/issues/8068

Thanks. I will try it at once. But with the Kobo Reader i can underline on the word which I want. But the PDF will be adjusted everytime when I turn the page.

You can do that in KOReader as well but you'll need to setup tesseract trained data first. It is already explained in https://github.com/koreader/koreader...-scanned-pages

IMHO it is easier and faster to do a proper OCR on a computer and save cpu cycles on your ereader. Also a proper pdf with a text layer should be way smaller than the same pdf as a bunch of scanned pages.

I used Adobe and saved pdf again. Afterwards I can underline the right words in the pdf.
