Kobo Aura ONE - knowing which books are "read"
The Kobo Aura ONE categorizes books as either Reading, Unread, or Finished.
When I sync my library with calibre I am unable to tell what category they are in. Does anyone know of a way to do this so that when I look at my library on my desktop I will know their statuses? Thanks! |

Kobo Utilities (on Calibre) Bookmark sync does more than bookmarks. It can create the extra custom columns needed. I've also used it to sync a new kobo with an old one.

Adding to Quoth's post above:
Create a new integer-type column, #percentread. I suggest {0}% for format. You may want to set the default value to 0. Install Kobo Utilities plugin. Here's the settings. Once it's set up, you can then put this template in a 'column built from other columns' to turn it into read statuses. Code:
program: if $$#percentread >=#1 && $$#percentread <=#99 then 'Reading' elif $$#percentread >=#100 then 'Finished' elif $$#percentread == 'None' then 'Undefined' elif $$#percentread >=#0 then 'Unread' fi Last edited by ownedbycats; 02-16-2023 at 02:09 PM. |

Thanks for all this, it has helped a lot.
For the "Current Reading Location Column", all I get back is some sort of cryptic string in the column. What is it supposed to display? I thought it would display something like a page #. The look up is kobo_reading_location. If I use kobobookmark, I get the same result. |

Current file inside the ePub, followed by some span information for exact location. Mostly for backing up and restoring location in case it's lost (e.g. db corruption).
