Excuse my ignorance, but I've never had this problem before. I use Caliber for my extensive digital library and for forwarding ebooks to my reader. Being in the process of moving, I was wondering if Caliber also provides paper library management. Once some applications were present on the linux repositories but, at the moment, I can't find anything interesting. So I wanted to know if Caliber or any of its plugins provides for the management of the paper format. Thank you.

yes, thank you... even if, having to import data already entered in Zotero, I fear that the matter becomes complicated. In any case, thanks.

Yup! My procedure is to add by ISBN (or by title when unavailable) and then add a 0-byte '.paperbook' to the formats, though you might prefer to use tags or something.

The keyword is Add Empty books.
If you have a spreadsheet
Look at the Import List Plugin: CSV might work for you

Add from ISBN works for newer books (that have ISBN10 or ISBN13)
If you have a bar code (keyboard wedge), that can speed entry. I recommend doing batches of 10-20, resolving issues as the crop up
You can have that Add mode apply a tag eg 'Paper Copy'

There is a plugin for Zotero, which you can install from within Calibre itself.
