Spell Check skips first word

Just wanted to point out, that with the new change of moving down after a correction, if you need to correct the very first word, it will skip the next word and leave it at the top as you continue, unless you physically select it.

This does not seem to happen with any other word, or at least not that I've seen. I tried on 5 different epubs, and it happened every time.

Hope I explained it clearly.

I noticed that as well.

EDIT: Also, in general terms, even though it normally defaults to having the first word active, the word doesn't get highlighted.

I suspect that is a 'feature' of Qt list widgets.

For me the book list does the same when I start calibre; the topmost will be current but it won't be selected (highlighted) if I try to do something e.g. View the book I get a "No books selected" popup.

But its inconsistent - if I switch to another library, and back again the topmost book (or the book previously selected) in the first library will often be highlighted.

I think it's been ever thus.

Just to let you know, I've got Calibre 6.13 and it looks to be working fine now. Thanks.

Though, if you merely accept a word into the dictionary, the selection highlight still disappears even though the first word in the updated list is still selected.
