Hello! I recently discovered Calibre and the MobileRead forums and couldn't be more excited to have "found my people"

I love to read and have way too many books, both physical and digital. I recently retired and have begun the process of digitizing my physical library and organizing all my books. I primarily read on my Kindle (or Kindle for iPhone) and I've always been frustrated with Amazon's lack of book organization tools. I sometimes enjoy browsing my library as much as reading individual books. Calibre has been a dream come true for me, and as someone with a tech background I really appreciate all the flexibility and extensibility options. I also love the fact that most of the questions I've been working my way through have already been discussed at depth by others somewhere in this forum. I worked on digital reading tech in the early 2000's and have been collecting ebooks for over 20 years now. I was pleased to discover that my old Kindle Keyboard from 2010 still works too.
