List of Palm mp3 players
I've been using PocketTunes for a while now as my mp3 player, but I've started to browse around for others. I like a lot about PocketTunes, but I'm not crazy about how it makes playlists. However, it is (I think) one of the only Palm mp3 players to support wma files.
So I'd like to start a list of all available Palm mp3 players as a resource. Please add any that I miss. Here's some of the ones that I've seen: PocketTunes: $15 (basic) and $30 (deluxe); plays mp3, ogg, wav, and wma (deluxe version only); 15 day free trial AeroPlayer: $15; plays ogg and wav (free) and mp3 (purchase); 14 day free trial Busker MP3 Player: $20; plays ogg, mp3 and wav; 7 day free trial MMPlayer: $15; plays avi, mpeg, mp3, and ogg(?); limited functionality in trial mode What else is there? And are there any others that play wma's? (I don't have much ripped in that format, but it is what I used when I first started ripping my CDs.) |

One thing you should add is that PocketTunes doesn't support DRM-protected WMA's, at least not in the current version.
I think PT Deluxe is the only PalmOS player that supports ShoutCast streams, but I could be wrong. |
