Anyone manage to get K4PC working under Wine?

Clock is ticking on the legacy Kindle4PC app, it seems, and the window for me to liberate all of my outstanding graphic novels will soon be closing.

Unfortunately, I switched away from Windows completely since the last time I did this, and thus far I haven't managed to get K4PC working under Linux in any capacity. I pay for a license for Crossover, which supports WINE development and usually has better compatibility, but none of the K4PC installers I've installed into Crossover bottles have yielded a working solution (the one version that completed install would show a blank screen when the application launched).

Has anyone gotten it working in Linux under native WINE or some other solution?

Just get Windows and dual-boot.

Install Windows in a virtual machine such as VirtualBox.
