Kindle converts -' into weird characters
The book is epub form - appears fine in Calibre, but converts dashes and apostrophes into weird characters when sent to Kindle.

Try using the ModifyEpub plugin with the Encode Epub in UTF-8 option checked before sending to your Kindle.

Or do an epub to epub conversion in calibre before sending to the kindle.

I have been putting up[ with the scrambled characters in punctuation for several months now and your fix is finally letting me read books without annoyance. Thank you so much.

Also, I really appreciate Calibre.
