eReader that splits PDFs

I saw a YouTube video in the last week or so that showed an eReader splitting PDFs into 4 so that the reader could see the 4 sections as separate pages. But I cannot recall what device it was. Any idea?

The Boox devices can do this with the built in reader. Multiple directions and setups.

Device: Kobo Aura-One (using KOReader app), Boox Note-3, iPad(s)
Quite a few newer e-readers there.

If pdf app in our e-reader doesn't have such capabilities we can either install Koreader app thereon, or we can simply crop pdf beforehand using some pdf editor or pdf tool.

On my Kobo Aura One, Kindle DXG and some older Kindles I've installed Koreader app for reading pdf, djvu, epub, comics.

On my Onyx Boox Note or any other Boox e-reader it is not necessary because its native pdf reader is good enough.

One excellent free pdf cropping tool is Briss, it takes just a couple of minutes (with some practice) to crop the whole pdf book anyway we want.

We can e.g. crop two-column pdf vertically in half (instead in four parts), and then simply read it on an older small 6" reader in portraite mode, because its width is wide enough for a single pdf column.

Thanks Salamanderjuice and Marinolino.
I've tried Briss today with some success.
Does Kobo's pdf "article mode" work with landscape viewing?
