Would be nice if I could select whether or not Amazon changes the title/author/series because their formats conflict with Goodreads.

Amazon authors have no spaces between the periods while Goodreads does

Amazon adds "The" and "Series" at the beginning and ends of their series while goodreads shortens them.

I like the way Amazon lists the titles fully while Goodreads shortens them considerably.

Is there a way of somehow fixing this so I can set what I want from Amazon (I will have to ask the Goodreads pluin people about their abilities) I know Calibre manages the Amazon source.

I would like to keep Amazon's title and author but not series, I would like to use Goodreads for the series.

You can configure any source and select which fields are downloaded from it. But you wont be able to combine data from multiple sources into a single result robustly. To do that you would have to run the download twice.
