Question about Calibre library store method
Forgive me because perhaps it's a stupid question, but reading Faq I've not found the information desired.
I see that Calibre split every book added in 3 files (cover, epub, metadata). When I send the file to the device via KUncaged, the file is one, as the original. I'm confused, is there a way to mantain an unique file instead of the 3 ones on the Calibre folder? And when I modify metadata, it's saved directly on the file or on the metadata file splitted? Thank you for yor patience. |

Stop looking under the skirts
![]() In the main Library, there is the book, a Cover that is used in details (it may be different the what is in the book) and a backup of the metadata what you see IN CALIBRE . If you Save to Disk (to export to your device, Configure the tool in Preferences: Saving to Disk. You chose what actions get done when you use that button |

![]() I like to see how things works ![]() On device saving all things work as expected (I put my personal settings). I wondered to find a folder for every book with splitted files on my hard disk. |

Calibre does create folders by book title. You could have 1 of every format in that folder, if you did all possible conversions.Do read the FAQ's at the Calibre site ( F1 takes you to the Manual site)
