Displaying different fonts in EPUB book?

Hi!

So pretty new to using e-readers and KOReader as well, but been loving how snappy and customizable it is.

One thing I noticed while trying to read an .epub of a novel that all the text is shows up as one font. In Calibre on my PC, and the default Kobo reader, there are times that the font changes when a certain character speaks.

I was wondering if there was a setting where I enable this?

My guess would be they're specifying a font that isn't included.
