Combining multiple mhtml files to one

I want to combine mhtml files to one. I cannot convert them to pdf or epub because they are Wikipedia articles on the periodic table and are therefore too wide for those formats.
I have looked at various html merge utilities but they don't seem to handle mhtml.
Can it be done with Calibre?
Any other ideas would be welcome.
Many thanks.

How do I convert a collection of HTML files in a specific order?

calibre does not handle mhtml, but if you want to convert wikipedia articles, use the wikireader calibre plugin to do it.

Many thanks. The plugin worked perfectly and produced an epub which, using the Calibre viewer, on my PC gave me just the look that I wanted.
However, that viewer is not available on Android and I can't find another reader/viewer which produces the same result.
Any suggestions?

No idea, I always use the calibre content server's builtin viewer to view books on Android.

I wish Calibre natively supports the ability to convert books to mhtml. Currently I convert books to htmlz and unzip and make them read aloud using Microsoft Edge as its voice is the most natural compared to other TTS programs. If Calibre can convert them to mhtml, it eliminates the process of unzipping and opening the directory of the unzipped book.

Or ideally, having the ability to convert books to an audio file using Microsoft Azure TTS API would be fantastic so that mhtml files won't be even necessary.

You won't even need a conversion. Just access the server via Microsoft Edge. You'll be able to read aloud directly from your existing books.

I can confirm it works for Windows and Android.

I don't think so, but it's best avoided. Though I've not seen it for absolutely years. So maybe nearly dead. It should be dead as it's dangerous on Windows.

Indeed, running a Calibre Content server and accessing it using Microsoft Edge provides plenty of natural voice options. I wasn't aware of it, thank you. Interestingly, other browsers provide different voice options and they don't have natural voice quality.

A few things I'd like to point out:
- It's not possible to play books outside the home network (unless the server is set up as public)
- Opening a port is a security risk
- The viewer's read-aloud function often stops

So, my wish still stands.

I use Pocketbook with epub on an Android phone. There are various speech engines and oddly my Android 5 Hauwei is better than my Android 10 Lenovo. I looked at Edge and not interested. MS clone of Chrome.
