exclude all subcategories from search
there are many subcategories. How to exclude them from the search without highlighting all of them?

If I'm understanding you right: Click it four times, and you'll get this icon:
Here, everything in Fanfiction.Mass Effect, Fanfiction.Elder Scrolls, and Fanfiction.Other is excluded from the book list. EDIT: Additionally, the search will look like not tags:"=.Fanfiction". Note the period following the equal sign. Last edited by ownedbycats; 11-16-2022 at 12:03 AM. |

You can also exclude entire categories by clicking on them twice:
Don't do this on 'authors' - it (and title, which isn't in the tag browser) is a special case where it's impossible to have an undefined value, so you'll end up with 0 results. |
