Hi,
I am a university student with limited experience in reading with epub. This year I had an economics course that follows The CORE team project, which publish books online for free in epub format. The past months I was reading the book from calibre and putting a lot of notes and highlights. Unfortunately today I was trying to open it again but calibre gives me the following error: calibre, version 6.8.0 ERROR: Loading book failed: Failed to open the book at C:\Users\mathe\Calibre Library\The CORE team\Economy, Society, and Public Policy (2)\Economy, Society, and Public Po - The CORE team.epub. Click "Show details" for more info. I also try to re-download the epub and works okay, but i don't want to loose my notes and highlights. Any suggestions? Cheers |

Looks like the file is corrupted. Simply replace the file with the re-downloaded copy and you should be fine, notes and highlights are stored in three different places, so they should be auto-recovered.
