KT2 [Help] Stuck on Demo Menu after WatchThis

I've got an old KT2 Basic (90C6) 7th generation model on system software 5.12.2

I assumed it was concatenating a "2", so I tried jailbreaking with WatchThis (for 5.12.2.2) instead of (archived and harder to find) KindleBreak (for 5.12.2). Unfortunately, it is now stuck on the Demo Menu. Exit brings up an "Application install failed" message, despite my removing the WatchThis binaries and folder. Resell (to factory reset) brings up a "Your battery level is too high" message.

Have I bricked it? Or do I have to wait for weeks for the battery to drain to 70%? Or is there something else I can do?

Update: I waited overnight (battery percentage was at 83% to begin with), battery must have got low enough as it's now factory reset and all is good. Now for KindleBreak!
