I need help, I tried to install the latest KUAL (coplate) thinking that the jalibreak would be updated, it failed, I got an error and it restarted.
It got stuck and I had to force restart it.
Now I have a paperweight, which I can do.
It restarts all the time and I can't do anything even by pressing the power button for 40 seconds and the computer doesn't detect it.
I find it incredible what happened.
It's a Kindle Power White 11th signature edition, I was delighted with everything.
what can i do??

There is a moment when the pc detects a storage unit without access, but it disappears and I can't do anything.

You'd have to give massively more details about the history of the device for us to help, but, yeah, your best bet is likely an RMA anyway.

I already had the kindle with a jailbreak done and the koreader working, the previous version.
I was very happy with how it worked and downloaded the new version and installed straight away.
It was supposed to update, but it didn't, it gave me an error and it crashed trying to install.

Update_KUALBooklet_hotfix_eb7e23d_install.bin

What I have installed was this file I put it in the MRPI folder and then start installation with KUAL package installer.
Something like that.
I'm surprised there's nothing to recover.
It's on an infinite reset and obviously this won't be good for memory I understand.
I have no choice but to process the warranty?
Can Amazon deny me the warranty?

PW5/PW5SE seems to have a non-recoverable bug which causes the device to brick itself, I've heard of quite a few people with non-jailbroken devices having the exact same issue.

Using the warranty is your only choice, all of the modern Kindles have a locked bootloader and serial port meaning that even if you could figure out what was wrong, you wouldn't be able to fix it. I doubt that Amazon would deny a warranty claim as it seems to be a known issue on your specific model.

There must be some way to revive, it's very strange.
How can you connect via ssh? Or some recovery mode?

Your device is not recoverable and bumping this thread over and over will not change that fact. As stated before, you need to contact Amazon and obtain a replacement device.

named DO_FACTORY_RESTORE in the root of the kindle storage

I can't access my device storage.
It detects what I mentioned above, but it disconnects.
It's like waiting for the start of a flash.
Clearly a tool or cable is missing.
I think there is something with the UART type connection.
I have two cables and I think I'm going to try to make some adaptations to have it a type c usb cable to see if I see anything.
Any help is welcome.

Here's a last-ditch effort.

Create a new text file with the contents:

Code:

:loop
type NUL > E:\\DO_FACTORY_RESTORE
goto loop

Replace "E" with the drive letter that your kindle appears as.
Save the file as script.bat and double-click it.

At this point I wonder about privacy, since I have private information on the kindle.
