Send in Calibre updated Metadata to books which are on Kindle Paperwhite?

I have made some different changes (Book name, Author, Serials, Published, etc.) on many books in my Calibre library.
Is there a way how I can send Metadata from Calibre to Kindle in the way that on Kindle the Metadata of the on Kindle existing books will be updated?
Is there some plug-in or some short manual how to do it?

IMHO 'Iffy'
Depends on the changes you made and whether the books still align (thus get overwritten rather than duplicated)
