The blue LED turning off after a few seconds and nothing else happening can be sign the battery is flat. Charge if for a couple of hours and see what happens. And if that is all that the problem is, then it will probably turn itself on after a few minutes.
The alternative is that there is something wrong with the internal SD card. If it was missing, or corrupt in some way that the device couldn't boot from it, again, the power LED would flash a few times and then stop. Nothing would change on the screen. The Touch N905C has an internal SD card. This can be reimaged or replaced. I can supply an image if you want to try. The worse alternative is that the screen has broken. It can be obvious with fracture lines on the screen. But, sometime it is in the corner not visible, or whatever is displayed hides it. In this case, the device could be running perfectly well except that the screen isn't updating. |

Hi, I am having a similar problem - Touch device had an update, device stayed on blank screen with flashing green light and eventually screen with exclamation mark and refresh logo. Got it to start and saying connect to pc, go through set up only for the process to loop through this each time.
Could I please get the SD image so I can try and fix this because Kobo support's answer is to buy a new device. |
