Beginner question: How to Get books in Calibre
Hello, I am new to MobileRead but I have been using Calibre for a while. I wanted to use the 'Get books' button to, well get some mobile read books. In Calibre, I selected the little arrow next to the Get books button then Stores > Mobileread and got an error message. The contents are posted below.
Any thoughts on what I'm doing incorrectly or what I should do differently? Thanks calibre, version 6.5.0 ERROR: Unhandled exception: <b>TypeError</b>:sort() takes at most 2 arguments (3 given) calibre 6.5 embedded-python: True Windows-10-10.0.19044-SP0 Windows ('64bit', 'WindowsPE') ('Windows', '10', '10.0.19044') Python 3.10.1 Windows: ('10', '10.0.19044', 'SP0', 'Multiprocessor Free') Interface language: None Successfully initialized third party plugins: DeDRM (7, 2, 1) && FanFicFare (4, 15, 0) Traceback (most recent call last): File "calibre\gui2\actions\store.py", line 127, in open_store File "calibre\gui2\store\stores\mobileread\mobileread_p lugin.py", line 55, in open File "calibre\gui2\store\stores\mobileread\store_dialog .py", line 40, in __init__ File "calibre\gui2\store\stores\mobileread\store_dialog .py", line 75, in restore_state File "calibre\gui2\store\stores\mobileread\models.p y", line 107, in sort TypeError: sort() takes at most 2 arguments (3 given) |

That's a bug fixed in the next release. You can instead search mobileread using the main get books interface (i.e. dont click the little arrow instead click the get books button)

Got the same message. However, just clicking the Get Books button itself to open the main window to search did not give that error.
