Calibre has a parameter to set the delay between sending two books via email to kindle. By default it is set to 301 seconds, corresponding to 5 minutes and 1 second (See Preferences->Advanced->Tweaks).
Eventhough I did not change the setting, i notice that the time taken is shorter than 301 seconds (139 seconds when I sent two books to my kindle earlier today). Why would that be? Thanks. |

The timer applies only if you use one of the known public relays. gmail/hotmail/gmx etc
