New Custom Metadata item not showing value in Library mode

Hi, I've added a new custom metadata item (it's a simple Y/N indicator). My other custom metadata items display fine in Library mode, but this one does not.

However, if I go into the Book Detail, the flag is there.

I've restarted the application and that hasn't resolved matters.

Any ideas please?

What do you have in the column definition for "Show" (see the screen capture)? My guess is that nothing is selected. Pick the one you want.

Having that screen select none of the possibilities is a bug, which I will fix.

That's sorted it! I must have unwittingly checked that on my other custom metadata and forgotten about it when I did this one - thanks a lot!

Those choices were added in calibre V5.44. If you created the other column using a calibre version older than that then you wouldn't have had the choice, so nothing to remember.
