Import placeholder books from series
So Ive run into a number of cases where I have 1-2 books in a series. Is there any way to pull the complete series from goodreads, and generate placeholder books?
For example https://www.goodreads.com/series/41246-goosebumps has 62 books in the series. Id love to be able to import that entire list. |

Start with the Predefined Tab, Select Goodreads Search That should set the (site scrape) patterns. Then paste the full site path into the Download From URL: Click preview I don't use GR, so I don't know if site changes broke things A simple author test worked |

That works when using the search page, but not on any of the other pages. For example the series list that I linked to. Sorry not trying to be a pain, just trying to find if this functionality exists.

Google found this - https://toppsta.com/books/series/4432/goosebumps
If you use it to create empty books you should be able to download covers etc with calibre. Probably easiest to add the books using a script with multiple calibredb add commands with the --empty option. I would put them in empty library and copy them to where I wanted them once I had the metadata sorted (i.e. pub dates, covers, blurbs etc) BR |

'Add by ISBN' might be another option, if you can find a list of them.
