PW Signature doesn't see most bluetooth speakers

I bought a used PW Signature. I'm struggling to get it to see other bluetooth devices in order to use the whispersync function. The only one it sees is my Echo 2nd gen. I really need it to connect to my bluetooth speaker in the kitchen or my hearing aid. Any advice? My Kindle Basic 8 connects fine to everything.

Did you those speakers into pairing mode?

Yes, most BT speakers can only pair with one thing at a time, and you need to put it in pairing mode so a different device can pair with it.

Ok thanks. I'll give that a shot. I'm just used to seeing multiple devices available when I start up the K8. I appreciate your comments!
