Moving settings from one computer to another

Dear all,

I wouid like to transfer my calibre configuration (e.g. email settings to share books by email) from my old computer to my new computer (running Linux).

I have access to my old disk, and I can see the /opt/calibre folder. I have copied that folder to /opt in the new machine, but calibre doesn't have pre-filled settings.

Is it possible to do this?

User settings are in the configuration folder. So I expect the (sharing by) Mail rules would be there. Somplace

I just copy the whole thing over to the new system.
Note: You may need to use Create/Switch to set the location(s) of the Library
as those won't be the same path

Try copying over the contents of home/.config/calibre. Note it is a hidden folder.
