Calibre 6 and Raspberry Pi OS
Has anyone had success getting Calibre 6 to work on Raspbian OS (64bit of course)? I was able to install it using the install script. But after the Welcome Wizard it immediately crashes with a segmentation fault (with no further error message).

most likely your os is missing some required libraries. try running it in a terminal via
calibre-debug -g and see if anything more useful is printed out. |

That's a segfault inside Qt's xcb backend. Anything unusual about your X server?

On a stock 64-bit RPi4 8GB running latest Debian Bullseye 64bit OS, the calibre installer errors with: "Your system has GNU libc version 2.31. The calibre binaries require at least version: 2.34 (released on 2022-02-03). Update your system." |
