Cant seem to install screensavers hack

I'm VERY new to this, I have jailbroken my paperwhite 6th gen on 5.12.2.2 and have installed KUAL. My goal is to use online screensavers and make it so I can view my home assistant dashboard on my kindle. When I put the Update_linkss_0.25.N_install_pw2_and_up.bin in the root and go to update I cant and when I reconnect my kindle to my pc the file has disappeared?

Please help

(make it easy for me to understand)

it doesn't go in your root and then update. you install that through the mr package installer in kual.

First, upload the appropriate install .bin file for your device (*Update_linkss_0.25.N_install_pw2_and_up.bin* for a PW2 or a KT2/KV/PW3/KOA/KT3/KOA2/PW4/KT4/KOA3/PW5, the other one for a Touch or a PW1) to the _mrpackages_ directory of your Kindle.

Now, eject & unplug your Kindle, and and run MRPI via KUAL: *Helper -> Install MR Packages*. It should take a couple dozen of seconds.

Taken right from the readme file in that zip you downloaded.

Edit: You'll need the helper for kual for these directions. It's in the snapshots thread where you got screensaver hack. Directions for that are in the zip as well.
