Check battery health?
Is there a way to check the battery health on my Kindle?

I have a second version Oasis and have noticed lately the battery is running down quicker than I'd expect. I cannot see that it is indexing any books but it does seem to be running down fast given my current light usage.

No answers, but I've also noticed my Oasis batteries draining much quicker than usual, and not holding a charge, even overnight.

Something that has made a large, difference is keeping WiFi off.

I ways leave WiFi on, it with it off the battery is holding for much longer.

I haven't been sending any new books to it, it's just doing whispersync for the handful of books I'm reading.

If yours is depleting as quickly as that check you do not have a book stuck indexing. Do you know how to do this?

If jailbroken it's possible to check the current battery capacity as reported by the System.

There is Kual extension Battery Stats which shows battery voltage, deducted capacity and charge or discharge rate.

Yes. I am using it since jailbreaking my PW3. The question mark at the end in my earlier post was kinda misleading.
P.S. I guess you never have to worry about excessively high battery temps. while reading outdoors! Mine gets to 48°C within 20-25 minutes under direct sunlight.

The current battery temp is 30 degrees Celsius. I believe that the value in parentheses is the difference between some past reading and the current one, I'm not sure.
