Kindle Fire just quit working
I think it's a 5th gen. Push power button and the words "Kindle Fire" come on for a short while then blank again. Worked a couple of times on power cord, but then dead again. I tried to reset "vol+ and pwr". She went through some kind of reset and update but it did not help. Last time I could look it seemed stuck on 49% battery. I guess it is completely dead.
This is on the heels of a Kindle Fire 7th gen going 'brick' on me. Just blank. Can't reset. Can't get anything to come up. With charge or without --- nothing. I've put the books I'm currently reading on my Kindle e-ink, but I need the Fire to read PDF manuals for equipment and some PDF books and magazines. |
