Kindle Voyage - Can't get KOReader to leave backlight alone

Hi

Anyone else using KOreader on a Kindle Voyage and having backlight control issues?

I want to fully manually control the backlight and not utilize inputs from the ambient light sensor .

(I like to have a touch of backlight going most all the time, even daytime indoors).

Nothing I do seems to get KOReader to leave it alone. If there is "enough light in the room" according to the sensor, KOReader turns off my backlight all the time.

I'm nearly about to resort to physically covering it with tape.

Before I do that - I thought I'd see if anyone knows an alternative. Perhaps there is a setting I could tweak in a LUA file to tell it to ignore that bit of hardware?

Any tips or ideas here are greatly appreciated!

Disable autofrontlight plugin, restart the app, done
